Natural numbers are the numbers used to count
or order. There are two types, cardinal and ordinal.
- If we use them for counting: CARDINAL
- If we use them for ordering: ORDINAL
The symbols
we use to represent numbers are called
digits: 0,1,2,3,4,5,6,7,8 and 9. Our numeral system is decimal and positional.
Positional: because the digits have a different value
according to its position.
